Mette dining chair is created by architect Carsten Buhl. Classic danish design with excellent comfort. A chair with an elegant expression where the legs in solid wood meet in an A. The beautifully shaped back is in moulded plywood with real wood veneer.

Carsten Buhl

Carsten Buhl, born 1965, graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of fine Arts in 1993.

Carsten Buhl embraces the design philosophy of early modern and post-modern masters and reinvents them with today's new materials and technologies. His respects for the end user in his pieces are the motivations behind his innovative options in relation to form, function, minimalism and elegance. Carsten Buhl's work is appealing and fresh, combining free-form sculptural shapes with the traditional attributes of Scandinavian design, material and structural integrity.

Carsten Buhl's career does not only include several years of running his own business as head of a design agency but he has also spent many hours on the roads running long distances including more than 49 marathons and two 100 km Ultra-run.
