Andreas Hansen created Model 153 in 1964. This multi-faceted lampshade's resemblance to a natural pine cone is unmistakable.
The lamp's enclosed shape makes it appropriate lighting for hanging at high or low levels.
Andreas Hansen
Andreas Hansen trained at the Kunsthåndværkerskolen (the School of Arts and Crafts) and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School of Furniture Design. He has since worked in furniture and industrial design.
He has had his own design studio since 1963, designing furniture, lamps and home furnishings, mainly for businesses based in Denmark.
At the beginning of his career, Andreas designed a series of new and inventive lampshades for LE KLINT.
