Mikko Kärkkäinen
Mikko Kärkkäinen is a Finnish designer originally trained as a carpenter. Mikko Kärkkäinen is the founder and chief designer of the Finnish company Tunto. As a carpenter, Mikko knows how and what can be realized from wood. He has the necessary technical preparation to create a product without anyone telling him how to do it. Thus, the final product is entirely his own creation and concept. Mikko was ranked among the 40 best European designers under 40 in 2011.
